He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Dewey and Alma Hone (Davis); and his son Jerry Lee Hone. He is survived by: his wife Janet Hone (Gregor); his son Michael Hone (Kelly) of Bethlehem, NC; his grandchildren, Candace Pruett (Brian) of Fort Wayne, IN, Justin Hone (Erica) of Pittsburgh, PA, Kari Carpenter (Jeff) of Hickory, NC, Ryan Hone (Amanda) of Alliance, OH and Katelyn Ackerman (Ryan) of Granite Falls, NC; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Landon Pruett, Oliver Hone, Allisyn Carpenter, Emma, Easton Hone, Hudson, Andersyn, Emylia and Ivy Ackerman; and his brother-in-law Jim Gregor of Alliance, OH.
