He is survived by: his wife Kim Coffey Chatman; his children, Justin Chatman of Icard, Jonathan Chatman of Hickory, Casey Chatman of Hickory and Victoria Simmons (James); his sister Mickey McDarrus; and his grandchildren, Olivia Chatman, Cole Chatman, Alayna Simmons, Lee Simmons, Austin Simmons and Caleigh Huffman.
