We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2019, at the age of 93, Rose Myers Dietz (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Milford Lee "Bill" Dietz; her son Alan Dietz; her siblings, Ruth Beck, Leo "Jack" Myers, Willie Mae Barnes, Hazel Nance, Hoke Myers, Eva Haltom and Aubrey "Buddy" Myers; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Dietz and Darrell Dietz.
She is survived by: her children, Elon University, Susan Sawyer (Dick) of St. Louis, MO and Rosemary Skoog (Greg) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Lane Dietz of Conover, Cameron Miller (Adam, Trey Sawyer) of St. Louis, Rebecca Hayes (Mitchell) of St. Louis, Adam Skoog of Asheville, Lauren Skoog of Charleston, S. C. and Austin Skoog of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Lucas Miller of St. Louis, Blaire Sawyer of St. Louis and Mitchell Hayes, Jr. of St. Louis; her daughter-in-law Carol Dietz of Conover; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Canupp of Hickory, Ruth Edwards of Hickory and Eleanora Dietz of Hickory.
