He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel Royall Pearson and Edith Clemmons Pearson of Virginia; his wife Joyce; and his grandson Austin Harris. He is survived by: his sons, Reverend Lee Harris (Carmen) of Granite Falls and Patrick Harris (Summer) of Hickory; his sister Carolyn Austin of Lynchburg, VA; and his grandchildren, Evan Harris, Nathan Harris, Owen Harris and Jordan Harris.
