She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gilbert and Leona Flowers Gilbert; her husband James Pruitt; and her sister Frankie Holsclaw. She is survived by: her children, Janice Gordon (Ed) of Conway, SC, Jennifer Starnes (Steve) of Hickory and David Pruitt (Susan) of Hickory; and her grandchildren, Shannon Pruitt Bowers (Blake) of Conover, Angela Young of Virginia Beach, VA, Ashley Starnes of Lincolnton, Jason Pruitt (Jennifer) of Conover, Ronald Young (Sandra) of Green Bay, WI, Josh Young of Myrtle Beach, SC, Christopher Young (Meredith) of Conway, SC, Dustin Starnes of Lincolnton and Tristen Starnes of Hickory. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
