It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Aubrey Peterson Jr. (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Aubrey Peterson and Sally Swan Peterson; and his wife Lynda. He is survived by: his sons, Aubrey of Hickory, Chris (Melissa) of Hickory and Andrew (Chad Ramsey) of Hickory; and his siblings, Andrew Peterson of Georgia and Trudy Norris of South Carolina. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
