She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Jasper Singleton and Nancy Kathleen Seehorn Singleton; her husband Robert Glenn Carswell, Sr; and her siblings, Tom Singleton, Alfred Ray Singleton and Eveline Singleton Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Glenn Carswell, Jr. of Hickory and Suzanne Carswell of Hickory; and her grandchildren, Brandi Lynch of Bristol, VA, Sherri Turner of Hillsville, VA and Jennifer Dunst of Cajah's Mountain, NC. She is also survived by three great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters, and a great great granddaughter.
