She was predeceased by: her mothers, Frances Leonard Leisner and Emma Margaret Leisner; her grandson Joshua Potter; and her son-in-law Eric Christopher. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Joe Whitt; her children, Becky Rookard (Edison) of Conover, Anne Christopher of Catawba and Charles Whitt of Hickory; her sister Rosmary Hannna of Arizona; her grandchildren, Katie, Andrew, Chandler, Anthony, Amanda and Erika; and her great grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Joseph, Carson, Bobby, Daniel, Alex, Chase, Hunter, Finnegan, Leroy and Makenna.
