Shirley Carswell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Carswell (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Bumgardner and Irene Bumgardner (Shuford); her sisters, Yvonne Helms, Bettie Keener and Emily Kiser; and her grandson Stephen Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, William Dean Carswell (Joey) of Hickory, NC, Vicki Carswell Brent of Hickory, NC, Rebecca Carswell Miller (Ronnie) of Hickory, NC and Randy Alan Carswell (Todd Feldman) of Washington, DC.; her grandchildren, Adam Phillips, Jason Carswell and Jessica Carswell; and her great grandchildren, Elijah and Luna.
