It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Williams Kahill (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Shirley and Ann Williams Shirley. She is survived by: her husband Larry; her children, Jonathan, Sara Pons of Morganton and Matthew Pons of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Ethan William Pons, Reid Andrew Pons and Faith Ann Pons; and her stepchildren, Michael Kahill (Jackie) and Emily Landrum (Trampus). She is also survived by children, and her aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
