We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2020, at the age of 76, Steve Clinton Laws of Hickory, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max M. Laws and Hazel Crump Laws. He is survived by: his wife Linda Davis Laws; his daughters, Angie Laws of Hickory and Annette Laws Wilson (Robert) of Hickory; his siblings, Larry Laws of Lenoir, Terry Laws of Lenoir, Buddy Laws (Wanda) of Charlotte, Randy Laws (Gwin) of Lenoir, Jerrell Laws (Lynn) of Hudson, Linda Bentley of Hudson and Kathy McCord (David) of Concord; and his grandchildren, Brooke King (Justin) of Raleigh, Alec Griffin (Michael) of Charleston, Seth Wilson of Hickory and Matthew Reitzel (Jenna) of Ft. Mill, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family will hold a private memorial service followed by a huge celebration of Steve's life with music, laughter and sweet memories at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Hickory Elks Lodge Backpack Program, 356 Main Ave., NW, Hickory, NC 28601.
