He is survived by: his wife Gloria Alexander of Mt. Holly, NC; his sons, Steve Thompson (Pam) of Charlotte, NC, Rodney Thompson and Gordan Thompson of Hickory, NC.; and his siblings, Judy Dowd (Charles), Jaqueline Thompson-Coates of Hickory, NC, Cathy Thompson of Mocksville, NC, Ervin Thompson (Janice) and Charles Holloway (Mary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
