He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Carey McCormick and Sally Booze McCormick of Cherryville. He is survived by: his wife Trudy Windsor McCormick of Greensboro; his children, Shannon C. Murphy of Cherryville and Steven L. McCormick of Pensacola, Fla; his grandchildren, Megan McCormick, Keri Haigler, Rebecca Murphy, Mason McCormick and Hannah McCormick; and his brother Richard McCormick. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
