He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee Jr. and Annie Katherine Currie Byrd; and his brother William Lee Byrd, III. He is survived by: his wife Juli Ann O'Connor Byrd; his siblings, Johnny Arnold Byrd (Pam) and Carol Lynn Hill; his sister-in-law Tina Byrd; and his children, Charles Jerome Byrd (Lilia), Steven David Byrd Jr. and Elizabethann Byrd. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
