With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terrie Jean Nelson (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Haleyville, Alabama, who passed away on December 18, 2021 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Terrie Jean Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Underwood Counts and Hazel Counts; her husband David L. Nelson; her children, Elizabeth Nelson Brown (William) of Wilmington and Christopher Lee Nelson (Kimberly) of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Lila, Stella, Finn, Kai and Koli; and her brother Tommy Counts. She was also cherished by her loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
A covid-conscious service will be held at Viewmont Baptist Church to honor her life on Thursday, December 23rd at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Viewmont Baptist Church, debt retirement program.
