He is survived by: his wife Helen Myrick Brooks; his children, Thomas W. Brooks IV (Jody D. Brooks), Stephen B. Brooks (Adriane W. Brooks) and Helen Vanessa Brooks; his grandsons, Christian R. Brooks and Thomas "Will" Brooks V of Atlanta, GA; his sister Lysbeth B. Wakefield; and his sister-in-law Marilane Brooks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
