He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Goodman Osborne and Patsy Stanley Osborne of Hickory; his wife Susan Raby Osborne; his children, Kim Miller (Darrin) of Hickory and Jeff Osborne (Sally) of Hickory; his siblings, Bob Osborne of Charleston, SC, Patrick Osborne of Telluride, CO, Paula Ford (Dwight) of Georgetown, SC and Mary Ann Osborne (Gary Schwenka) of Woodland Park, CO; and his grandchildren, Kara Miller, Nathan Miller, Jack Osborne and Miles Osborne. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
