He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Bertha Hendren; his grandmother Nelda Hefner; and his cousin Rodney Hefner. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Green Childers; his daughter Carlie Childers; his parents, Paul Childers and Jearldine Childers; his grandmother Betty Wilcox; his siblings, Travis Childers (Jackie), Nikki Childers Walton (Josh) and Michelle Childers Andrade (Jose); his siblings' children, Tristian Childers, Jacinda, Arianna, Trinity and MaShay; his great-nephew Daylon; and his pet Daisy Mae.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Catawba County, 3224 20th.
