She was predeceased by: her husband Heinz Juergen. She is survived by: her sons, Ralf (Helen) and Tom (Fran) of Hickory, NC; her siblings, Gerd Gobel of Hamburg, Germany and Edel Hartwig of Munich, Germany; and her grandchildren, Mary (Jon Gaegler) of Nashville, Tennessee, Jessica of Washington, DC, Kathryn, Amy of Hickory, NC, Stefanie and Carolyn of Bad Soden, Germany.. She is also survived by wife, a strong and loving mother, and really enjoyed being a grandmother, "Oma", for her 6 granddaughters.
