He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clarke and Mary Alice Lail Clarke; his former wife Rachel Pope Clark; and his siblings, Grady Clark, Marie C. Tanner and Jewell C. Anthony.
He is survived by: his wife Leta Burris Clarke; and his children, Steve Clark (Angie) of Maiden, Lisa Clark of Catawba, Tim Clark of Hickory, Terrianne Cartee of Hickory and Kimberly Kluttz (Eddie). He is also survived by Nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Leta Clarke, to help offset expenses.
