She is survived by: her brother Donnie Brown of Hickory, NC; her children, Vanessa L. James of Asheville, NC, Adele L. James McCarty of Hickory, NC, Denise L. James of Greensboro, NC and William L. James, Jr. (Candice) of Browns Summit, NC; and her grandchildren, Sierra, Nakiya, Frederick Jr., Amaria Baker, Logan, Ethan James, Vincent James of Charlotte, NC, Steven James of Hampton, VA and Weddie Gabriel, Jr. (Jean) of Sherrills Ford, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
