The passing of Virginia (Ginny) Elizabeth Ingram of Hickory, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 83. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Virginia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virginia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Charles McCubbin and Sarah Elizabeth Beatty McCubbin; and her husband Robert "Bob" William Ingram of Atlanta, GA. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Marie "Beth" Ingram of Hickory, NC and Virginia "Ginger" Ingram Kessler (David Kessler) of Litchfield, NH; her grandsons, John Cole Kessler and William James Kessler of Litchfield, NH; and her sister Judith McCubbin Cox of Rockland, ME..
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the St. Albans Episcopal Church (130 39th Ave Pl NW, Hickory, NC 28601).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ginny's name may be given to P.E.O. Chapter N supporting women's education & scholarship.
