She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Adams and Claudia Smith Adams; her husband Wade Hampton Killian; her granddaughter Christie Helton; and her sisters, Ruby Adams Propst (Bill) and Betty Adams Lineberger (Charlie).
She is survived by: her daughter Debra K. Whisnant (Debbie) of Hickory; and her grandchildren, Allen Mackey, Wayne Mackey (Ginney), Dwayne Mackey, Brandon Helton (Lee) and Ashley Helton Fleming. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
