He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Monroe and Beulah May Jarrett Lynch; his siblings, William Ray Lynch of Hickory, Earl Lynch of Hickory, Howard Lynch of Hickory, Margaret Louise Lynch of Newton and Mary Lynch Hoyle of Vale; his nephews, Ronald Hoyle of Vale and Max Lynch of Hickory; and his wife Rachel Mull Lynch.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Lynch (Debra) of Flat Rock and Scott Lynch of Newton; his grandson Levi Lynch (Gesine) of Cullowhee; and his sibling's children, Sharon Wilson (Chris) of Mooresville, Allen Hoyle (Reba) of Vale, NC., Dennis Hoyle (Trudy) of Vale, NC., Gary Mull, James Mull Jr., Betty Suddreth and Patricia Cates.
