It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Ferd Branch of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Gragg and Mae Branch; his former wife Revonda Anne Winkler Branch; and his wife Rebecca Sue Barlowe Branch. He is survived by: his former wife Blanch Ham of Lenoir; his children, Thomas Branch (Anita) of Lenoir, Ernie Branch of Granite Falls, Lee Branch (Lori) of Taylorsville and Susan Branch of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Joy Huffman (John) of Rock Hill, SC, Jessie Branch of Lenoir, Daniel Kirby of Lenoir, Nichole Bolick of Lenoir, Christopher Branch of Lenoir, Jordan Branch of Winston-Salem, NC and Joshua Branch (Arianne) of Taylorsville, NC. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
