He was predeceased by: his parent Edwin William Carl Hass; his wife Nancy Welke Hass; and his siblings, Ralph, Allan, Gerald Hass and June.
He is survived by: his parent Lillian Anna Schultz Hass; his children, Paul Hass (Camilla) of Arkansas, Carolyn Ellis (Randal) of Conover, Andrew Hass (Nicole) of Conover and Mark Hass (Ageena) of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Alec Hass, Elijah Ellis, Anna Kathryn Hass, Isaac Hass, Noah Hass, Savannah Ellis, Scarlett Ellis, Sophie Hass, David Hass, Cole Hass, John Hass and Drew Hass.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Concordia Day School, Concordia Lutheran Church, 216 5th Ave. SE, Conover, NC 28613.
