He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth Mathis; his sons, Keith W. Mathis (Loretta) and Timothy W. Mathis; his stepchildren, Michael Shores and Angela F. Willingham; his sisters, Irene Heavner, Joyce Adams (Fate) and Faye Wolfers; and his grandchildren, Keith Mathis Jr., Tiffany Mathis, Ashlee L. Mathis, Danielle N. Mathis, Michelle Shores, Elizabeth M. Shores, Erin N. Willingham and Morgan Shores.
