With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Eckard (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Hildebran Eckard; his son Alan Eckard; and his sisters, Katherine Weaver and Evelyn Deal. He is survived by: his son Rick Eckard of Hickory; his granddaughter Joni Moore (Steve) of Connelly Springs; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Emily, Blake and Ally; and his sister Marilyn Punch.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to South Fork Baptist Church at 4112 South Fork Ave. Hickory, NC 28602.
