With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Louis Kent in Hickory, North Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Anne Kent Barnaby of Granite Falls, NC. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, John Kent of Woodbridge, VA, Jami Kent Copley of Jacksonville Beach, FL and Jeff McCray of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Kelcy, Tyler Kent, Erica, Christopher and Katherine Copley; and his brothers, Walter Kent of Lenoir, NC and Charles Thomas Kent (Tom) of Pompano Beach, FL. He is also survived by friends, and his beloved bird dogs.
