She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Stamey Payne and Mamie Leota Stine Payne; her sister Martha Leota Payne Hoke; and her husband George Clayton Hoke. She is survived by: her sister Rita Payne Ledford of Hiddenite; and her stepchildren, Tim Hoke (Kim) of Chapel Hill, Rodger Hoke (Linda) of Pfafftown, Chris Hoke and Tom Hoke (Rachel) of Piedmont, SC.. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren.
