She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaither Long and Beatrice Barker Long; and her husband Larry Poole. She is survived by: her brother Richard Long (Eccolia Max Long) of Greensboro; her sibling's children, Cynthia Rivers, Kimberly Long Holt, Steve James and Ulysses Long; and her cousins, Alma James and Shamyya James.
