He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Joines and Edith Moore Joines; his wife Rebecca Goodwin Joines; and his sister Brenda Joines Lail. He is survived by: his daughter Donna Stewart of Lenoir; his brothers, Roy Joines of Stony Point and Glenn Joines (Ann) of Stony Point; his grandson Brent Stewart; his great grandchild Ethan Stewart; and his great great grandchild Onyx Stewart.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (40 State Rd 1558, Stony Point, NC 28678). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Church Building Fund (40 Tomahawk Rd. Stony Point, NC 28678).
