She was predeceased by: her sister Ann Nance. She is survived by: her husband Richard Gray Grimes, Sr.; her children, Reneé Mawyer (Anthony) of Taylorsville, Richard Grimes (Julie) of Hiddenite and Chad Grimes; her grandchildren, Emily Mawyer, Jonathan Grimes, Olivia Grimes and Zane Mawyer; and her siblings, Joyce Greene (Curtis) of Millers Creek, Beth Watkins of Oak Island, Pam Blevins of Purlear, Wayne Blevins (Donna) of Ronda, James Blevins of Ronda and Bill Blevins (Christina) of Sylva. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
