We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2019, at the age of 86, Emogene Barnette (Hiddenite, North Carolina), born in Alexander, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Burgess Millsaps and Nell Campbell Millsaps; her brother Jennis Millsaps; and her daughter-in-law Beverly Barnette. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Barnette, Donald Barnette (Susan), Douglas Barnette (Wanda) and Dean Barnette; and her siblings, Billy Millsaps (Cozette), Bobby Millsaps (Lois), Larry Millsaps (Joy) and Lorene Wallace.
