He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cecil and Elsie Byers Shook; his wife Nancy Bell Keever Shook; and his siblings, Bill Shook and Jean Shook.
He is survived by: his son Michael Shook (Robin) of Hiddenite; his grandchildren, Kyler Evan and Gracee Rochelle Shook; his siblings, Cecil Shook (Sonny) of Statesville and Linda Turman (Dewey); and his sister-in-law Willie Keever. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
