She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mitchell and Ruth Elder Mitchell; her husbands, Robert Elder, Chaunce Elder and Albert Freeman; her children, Michael Elder and Barbara Ann Davis; her sister Betty Freeman; her sons-in-law, Robert L. Wiles, Sr. and Curtis Davis; her grandson Fletcher Puett; her nephew Robert A. Barnes; and her pets, Angle and Wiggles.
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Lee Elder, Jessie Elizabeth Harrington (Douglas) of Taylorsville, Bonnie Elder and Pam Wiles of Taylorsville; her grandson Robert Lee Wiles, Jr. of Taylorsville; her great grandchildren, Stacye Boone (Ken) of Hiddentie and William Wiles of Stony Point; her great great grandchild Serbina Boone of Hiddenite; and her pet Abigaile.
