It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Stevenson of Hiddenite, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Stevenson and Nellie Elder Stevenson; and his siblings, Barbara Stevenson Fox and Robert Stevenson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stevenson; his stepsons, Dale Bowles of Claremont, Merrill Bowles of Hiddenite and Alan Deal of Claremont; and his siblings, Eula Head of Hiddenite, Dorothy Marlowe of Statesville, Brenda Johnson (Dean) of Statesville and Hoyle Stevenson (Terri) of Statesville. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
