He was predeceased by: his parents, Doc Walker and Mary Childers Walker; and his granddaughter Jennifer Watson. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Patterson Walker; his children, Cindy Nabar (Rein) of Lexington, KY, Loretta Walker Ross of Mooresville, NC and Dennis Walker of Lenoir, NC; and his granddaughters, Becca Ross and Jamie Hamby.
