He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Ailene Stout Head of Statesville; his wife Kathy Thompson Stout; his sons, Tony Mark Stout of Asheville and Paul James Stout (Sarah) of Taylorsville; his sister Janie Head Bustle (Junior) of Statesille; and his grandson Landon James Stout.
