She was predeceased by: her mother Della Mae Billings; and her siblings, Frank Thomas and Betty Hughes (Jesse Leroy Gardner). She is survived by: her husband Daryl Dean Quaintance; her son Scott Lee Gardner (Lou Ann); her grandson Aidan Scott Gardner; her nephew Clyde Billings; her niece Donna Pless; and her great-nephew Jon Aker.

Memorial donations may be made to Autism Society NC, Guilford County Chapter.
