She was predeceased by: her husband Elijah Messer; her children, Kenneth Wayne and Teresa Ramsey; and her brother James Samuel Rowell. She is survived by: her children, Larry Messer (Theresa) and Brenda Lowder; her sister Barbara Butler of Fulton, GA; and her grandchildren, Megan Ramsey, Kristin Ramsey, Chris Saunders, Nathan, Daniel and Sarah Lowder. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
