She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop Burt and Ebenezer Rucker; her husband Richard McClain; her children, Walter McClain and Levoyd McClain; and her brother Alester Rucker.
She is survived by: her children, Devonda McClain, Sharon Hardy (Chad), Ruby Parker (Billy), Richard McClain, Jr., Ilka Walker, Tyrone McClain, Jetanna McClain and Twanetta Rogers; and her siblings, Dr. Shirley Melker, Robbie Irvin, Donna Crawford, Harold Rucker (Lisa) and Ronald Rucker (Vera). She is also survived by other relatives and beloved friends.
