He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul J. Mills and Dora Lessie Garner Mills; his wife Joyce Ann Brannock; his sons, Monty L. Mills, Terry Mills, Clyde L. Mills (Michelle) of Climax and K. T. Mills of Florida; his stepdaughters, Gerri Ann Zimmerman of Wilmington and Christy Rivers of Winston-Salem; and his sister Hazel Corn of Archdale. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
