He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hampton and Frances Rushing Tucker; his son Gary Tucker; and his brothers, Billy Joe and Charles Tucker.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Garris Tucker; his daughter Debbie Everhart (Gary); his grandsons, Christopher Tucker and Joseph Tucker; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Kailee, Courtney, Khloe and Tristyn.
