We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2021, at the age of 85, Betty Smith of High Point, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Howard Kearns and Anna Blanche Rush Kearns; her husband Donald Ray Smith, Sr.; her daughter Jane Fitzgerald; and her siblings, Hiatt, Gene Kearns and Anna Ruth Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Ray Smith, Jr. (Rhonda) of Raleigh and Penny Peace (Joey) of Archdale; her brother Jack Kearns (Marilyn) of High Point; her son-in-law Tim Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, John Hunt (Angie), Aaron Smith, Hannah Smith, Seth Fitzgerald and Haley Love (Dustin); and her great grandchildren, Charlie Hunt, Haleigh Hunt, Karleigh Hunt, Kinsley Love and Maverick Love.
