With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Long (High Point, North Carolina), born in Tabor City, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Davis E. Long and Versie Hewitt Long; his son Tim Long; his brother Carliss Gilbert Long; and his granddaughter Amanda Pilson.
He is survived by: his spouse Billie JoAnn Wrenn Long; his children, Anne Long Ryals, Jeanne Pilson, Angie Long Poole, Philip Long and Jonathan Long; and his siblings, Shelby Johnson and James David Long. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
