She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Lassiter and Maude Geddy Lassiter; her husband Walter J. Mitchell; her daughter Sandra Mitchell East; and her siblings, Lyndon Lassiter (Hazel), Ruth McCrae (Reid), Louise McBride, Maude Ellis Lassiter, Haywood Lassiter (Lois), Bill Lassiter (Ruth), Benson Lassiter (Annie Lee) and Sue Draughn (David).
She is survived by: her son Ray Mitchell (Mary) of Austin, Texas; and her grandsons, Timothy Ray Mitchell and Jeffrey North Mitchell of Austin, Texas.
