He was predeceased by: his sisters, Mildred and Martha Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cora B. Smith; his siblings, Ralph Smith of High Point and Sadie Robinson of Oakland, CA; his sons, Irvin Smith (Thelma) of Arlington, TX and Wayne Smith (Pamela) of High Point; and his adoptive children, Margie Ward Johnson (Quincey), Kitz Gayten and Barry Johnson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
