He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezekiel Fowler and Bonnie Mae Pendry Fowler; his wife Jane Sykes Fowler; his children, Glenn Fowler, Leeann DeHart and Lauralyn Simmons; and his siblings, Woody Fowler, Pauline Tietsort, Jesse Hayward and Juanita Smith.
He is survived by: his son Charles Fowler (Sandy) of Kernersville; and his grandchildren, Chase Fowler, Hart Fowler, Cori Dauda, Tyler Yates, Ryan Yates, Shelby Fowler, Colin Fowler, Corbin Fowler and Madison DeHart. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
