She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Brown and Sunnie Rice Brown; her husband Richard Brown; and her siblings, Harvey "Mack" Brown, Obie Brown, Wilson Brown, Nettie Lou Brown Thomas and Jimmie Lee Carnegie.
She is survived by: her nephew James McRae of Waldorf, MD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
